I love the bad future storyline in TV shows. It's basically a perfect excuse for the writers and artists to just say "screw canon" and do whatever the hell they want for an episode or two. Anyone can be good or evil, anyone can die, and anything can happen, because who cares? It's an alternate timeline that never happened.
